Error In Line 3 continued...

When I was tired I just slept on my air mattress under the table where I put my Atari. But there was also an option to sleep in a separate sports hall with nearby toilets and showers. Here's TWW connecting his Atari Jaguar and TXG hidden somewhere...

On Saturday we went to the supermarket and there I found some good Czech beer. Because there wasn't that much in the supermarket we bought all 40 bottles that were there, so we had to live with that for the next two days. The weather was good so it was nice to sit in the sun and talk with other visitors outside.

In the evening we had a barbecue and there we met some other people. Everybody had a good time playing games, programming or just relaxing.

Here's tWh showing people how to barbecue - the master at work!

Inside in the hall people could use the internet, there were two PCs connected to the internet by a dial-up 56 Kbps modem, later we shared it with more people by using a router.

Foundation Two had put an Atari 8-bit in the hall for a gaming competition. The game people could play was Qix, this is a very addictive game...

Saturday night the music and graphics competitions were presented on the projector. On Sunday night the demos where shown. Everybody could vote on his vote sheet for the best tracker and SID music. The quality of the entries were really good. I was impressed by the creativity of the people who made the music and demos.

On Sunday evening before the demo competions were shown on the projector we played  Whip-Pong on the Falcon. This was the same as at Error In Line 2. You have to play Pong with a microphone. Each player can move the bat with the volume of his voice. This is real cool... after five points the match was over. There was a little competition and ST-Ghost from France won. Everybody was very excited to see this. The fun factor of this game was 500%!

After this competition people could watch the demos...

And now some pictures to show how people showed they enjoyed themselves there...

Because there was so much there to see it’s very difficult to tell it all in one story... so here is another nice picture, of an Atari tower...

Satantronic was also there and showed the 1 MB SIMM upgrade for the Atari XL/XE - there are two versions, one for systems with the Freddy chip and one for systems without it (Freddy is the chip that does the bank switching of the memory).

Before we started to travel back we took some group pictures of MNX, Foundation Two, the Czechs and some other people like some French Atari users. Here's the MNX group picture: TXG, TWW and Fox-1.

And also me with the French people that were totally crazy but lots of fun, I hope to see them sometime soon at another party...

On the morning of Monday 21 April we started to travel back home at 11:00, the weather was sunny.

The Error In Line 3 meeting was the best meeting in years. It was even better then the second which was also very good. I want to thank the organizers of this meeting and tell them again that they did a very good job. I hope that this success, will be continued on Error In Line 4. I'd also like to thank all people who visited EIL 3 and sent the pictures to me for this report.
